FCDC partnered with Bindlestiff Studios to provide seniors with drama lessons so that they can express themselves in this art form. Classes are conducted by Oliver Sario and Aureen Almario of Bindlestiff and will culminate in a theater production on July 30th at Bindlestiff Studios.
Zero Waste Project
The Zero Waste Project of the San Francisco Environment Department (SFE) aims to eliminate the amount of garbage going into the City's landfill by encouraging residents to reduce waste and co-mingling of recycled material. Asian Pacific American Community Center (APAC) was funded by SFE to provide education and outreach to the community. In turn, APAC is partnering with FCDC and the Tenderloin People's Congress to educate communities on Zero Waste in the Tenderloin and South of Market.
